Finding The Perfect Infant Shoes

Even though the babies are not interested or even aware of what fashion represents, some parents go to great lengths to keep up with the current trends in infant clothing and even infant shoes. Sometimes ignoring if the babies are uncomfortable with what they are wearing, the main interest of some parents is to make their child look its best so every time they run into some acquaintance on the street they will receive compliments about how cute their child looks and probably start an hour long conversation about where they bought every infant clothing or infant shoes that their child is wearing.

Of course if the babies aren't comfortable with the infant shoes they are wearing they will start to cry, but that's not a problem, because babies have a very short attention span and they can easily be distracted by something shiny, or something that makes interesting noises.

Another interesting fact is that parents are prepared to spend a great deal of money on infant shoes, even though the child is likely to grow at a very fast rate, thus rendering the infant shoes useless after a couple of months or even weeks. Of course, the purpose of infant shoes is slightly different then adult ones, the main ones being to protect the baby's feet and be able to resist the constant physical stress of crawling on the floor or on harsh surfaces. Adult footwear has to be able to withstand a great deal more, in activities such as running, dancing, climbing, etc.

The infant shoes are made to last only until the baby learns how to walk. A major purpose of the infant shoes is to make the child look as cute as possible, so the parents can be proud of their little one when showing him to the relatives or acquaintances.

One of best ways to make your child cute with infant shoes is by smallness. Even though babies are not very attractive creatures with their big heads, pudgy expression, drooling all over the place, they can be made cute by using smallness of everything: clothes, hats, small electrical cars, etc. Infant shoes are not an exception: the smaller the infant shoes, the cuter the baby. We tend to regard children as small and odd versions of adults and that reflects in our perception of what they are wearing. For example, if we take a style of clothing that is considered cool at the time and we shrink it down to baby size we will obtain cuteness.

Pattern of warm colors or perhaps drawings of cute animals, flowers, etc make a very popular design on infant shoes and clothing. Regarding the best for the health of the baby's feet, it is very important not to put hard bottomed leather shoes on until they have started walking, the reason being that the child is more likely to start walking sooner if he is bear footed or wearing light cloth shoes.
